Privacy Policy for Private Vault Calculator
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Private Vault Calculator, an Android application developed and published by ADA Andart.

Important transparency notice: ADA Andart does not operate proprietary servers that receive, store, view, or maintain copies of the private photos, videos, documents, notes, recordings, contacts, or other vault content stored by users of Private Vault Calculator. Most private vault content is processed locally on the user's device. Optional cloud backup functionality communicates directly with the user's Google Drive account using services operated by Google.
1. Developer and scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Private Vault Calculator.
The application is developed and published by ADA Andart.
This Policy describes information handled directly by the application and explains how independent third-party services may process information when their functionality is used.
This Policy is intended to apply globally. Privacy rights and legal obligations may vary depending on the user's country or region.
2. Nature of the application
Private Vault Calculator provides a calculator interface together with private vault functionality designed to allow users to organize and protect supported content on their device.
Depending on the version of the application and the features used, vault content may include photos, videos, documents, notes, recordings, contacts, and other supported private content.
The application may also include optional features such as cloud backup, premium functionality, icon disguises, Intruder Selfie, Camera Vault, audio recording, backgrounds, rewarded advertisements, and other utility features.
3. Private vault content stored locally
Private vault content is primarily stored and processed locally on the user's device.
ADA Andart does not operate a proprietary remote server containing copies of users' private vault content.
ADA Andart does not routinely receive, view, monitor, inspect, or manually review the private photos, videos, documents, notes, recordings, or other content stored in the vault.
4. Local protection and encryption
Private Vault Calculator uses technical security mechanisms intended to protect supported vault content and backup data.
Security mechanisms may differ depending on the type of data, application version, backup format, Android version, and feature used.
Access to the vault may be protected by a PIN or other supported access-control mechanisms.
Device-level security also depends on Android, the user's screen lock, hardware security capabilities, operating-system integrity, and other factors outside ADA Andart's control.
5. Optional Google Drive cloud backup
Private Vault Calculator includes an optional cloud backup feature that allows users to store encrypted copies of supported vault files in their own Google Drive account.
Cloud backup is not required to use the application's basic local vault functionality.
When cloud backup is enabled, supported files are encrypted locally on the user's device before the encrypted backup is transmitted to Google Drive.
ADA Andart does not operate the Google Drive infrastructure used to store those backups.
6. V3 encrypted backups
Current V3 backups use AES-256-GCM encryption.
A cryptographically random master key is generated for the user's V3 vault environment. Supported files are encrypted locally before transmission to Google Drive.
The V3 master key is not intentionally transmitted to ADA Andart in plaintext.
The user's recovery password is used to derive cryptographic material that protects the V3 master key. The recovery password itself is not intentionally uploaded to ADA Andart.
Recovery information required to unlock the encrypted master key may be stored in the user's Google Drive account together with the encrypted backup environment.
ADA Andart does not maintain a proprietary server-side database containing users' V3 recovery passwords or plaintext V3 master keys.
7. Recovery password
Users who enable V3 backup functionality are responsible for remembering and protecting their recovery password.
ADA Andart does not operate a password-recovery server capable of revealing a forgotten V3 recovery password.
If a recovery password is forgotten and the required local cryptographic material is no longer available, encrypted backups may become permanently inaccessible.
Users are encouraged to choose a strong, unique recovery password and store it safely.
8. Legacy backup compatibility
Earlier versions of Private Vault Calculator may have created backups using previous encryption formats.
The application may retain compatibility with earlier backup formats so that existing users can restore previously created backups.
Legacy backups do not necessarily use the same key-management architecture as current V3 backups.
Compatibility with earlier backups is maintained primarily to reduce the risk of users losing access to previously stored content.
9. Google Drive access
If the user chooses to connect Google Drive, the application uses Google authentication and Google Drive APIs to perform requested backup and restore operations.
The application may receive authorization credentials or access tokens required to communicate with Google services. ADA Andart does not receive the user's Google account password.
Backup files may be stored in a dedicated application-related folder within the user's Google Drive account.

10. No proprietary ADA Andart vault servers
ADA Andart does not currently operate proprietary cloud servers used to upload and centrally store users' private vault photos, videos, documents, recordings, or other private vault content.
This does not mean that the application never communicates with the internet.
Features such as advertising, Google Drive backup, Google Play Billing, and other third-party integrations may communicate directly with infrastructure operated by those third parties.
11. Advertising and Yodo1 MAS
Private Vault Calculator may use Yodo1 MAS for advertising and advertising mediation.
Depending on the application version, region, consent status, and advertising availability, the application may display advertising formats such as:
- rewarded advertisements;
- interstitial advertisements;
- App Open advertisements;
- other advertising formats supported by the integrated advertising platform.
ADA Andart does not operate Yodo1's advertising servers or the servers of advertising networks participating through Yodo1 MAS.
12. Information advertising services may process
Yodo1 and participating advertising providers may process technical, advertising, diagnostic, security, or consent information depending on the user's device, region, privacy choices, SDK configuration, and applicable law.
Such information may include, where applicable:
- device information;
- operating-system information;
- application information;
- language and region information;
- IP address;
- network information;
- approximate location inferred from IP or network information;
- advertising identifiers where permitted by the platform and applicable law;
- advertising impressions;
- advertising interactions;
- rewarded-ad completion events;
- diagnostic and performance information;
- anti-fraud information;
- consent and privacy-related signals.
This list does not mean that every category is collected for every user.
13. Yodo1 privacy practices
Yodo1 MAS and advertising providers participating through its mediation platform operate independently from ADA Andart.
Their processing practices may be governed by their own privacy policies, consent systems, regional requirements, and technical configurations.

14. Rewarded advertisements and virtual rewards
Some features may allow users to voluntarily watch rewarded advertisements.
When a rewarded advertisement is successfully completed, an advertising provider may send the application a technical event indicating that the reward requirements were met.
The application may use that event to grant virtual coins, temporary benefits, backgrounds, or other eligible virtual rewards.
Virtual rewards do not have real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed from ADA Andart for cash.
15. Google Play Billing and purchases
The application may offer premium functionality, subscriptions, or one-time purchases through Google Play Billing.
Payment processing is handled by Google Play.
ADA Andart does not directly receive or store users' full credit-card numbers, bank-account credentials, or Google account passwords.
The application may receive transaction-related information necessary to verify purchases, entitlement status, or premium access.
16. Android permissions and device access
Private Vault Calculator may request Android permissions or access to device capabilities when required for a feature selected by the user.
Depending on the application version and Android version, these capabilities may include:
- Photos, videos, files, or storage access: used to import, export, protect, restore, or manage supported vault files.
- Camera: used for features such as Camera Vault or Intruder Selfie, where available.
- Microphone: used only when the user activates an audio-recording feature.
- Contacts: used only when the user chooses a feature that requires access to contacts.
- Internet access: required for advertising, Google Drive backup, purchase verification, and other online features.
The exact Android permissions may change as Android platform requirements or application features evolve.
17. Intruder Selfie
If the Intruder Selfie feature is enabled and available, the application may use the device camera in response to relevant failed vault-access events.
Images created by this feature are intended to be handled locally by the application unless the user explicitly uses a separate feature that transfers or exports them.
ADA Andart does not operate a proprietary server to which Intruder Selfie photographs are automatically uploaded.
18. Audio recording
If the application includes an audio-recording feature, access to the microphone is used only when required for that functionality.
Audio recordings are not automatically transmitted to an ADA Andart proprietary server.
19. Contacts
If the application includes contact-vault functionality, contact access is used only when the user chooses to use that functionality and grants the required permission.
ADA Andart does not operate a proprietary remote database intended to collect and centrally store users' address books.
20. Affiliate links
The application may contain links to external products, websites, services, or offers.
Some links may be affiliate links. If a user follows an affiliate link and completes an eligible purchase or action, ADA Andart may receive a commission.
External websites and services operate independently and are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
21. Third-party services
Depending on the application version and features used, third-party services may include:
- Google Play;
- Google Play Billing;
- Google authentication services;
- Google Drive;
- Yodo1 MAS;
- advertising networks participating through advertising mediation;
- Android platform services required for application operation.
These providers may operate their own servers and may process information according to their own policies and applicable legal requirements.
22. Sharing and disclosure
ADA Andart does not operate a proprietary database of private vault files for the purpose of selling users' photos, videos, documents, recordings, contacts, or notes.
Information may nevertheless be transmitted directly from the application or device to third-party providers where required to provide functionality selected by the user, such as Google Drive backup, advertising, or Google Play purchases.
Information may also be disclosed where required by valid applicable law, legal process, court order, or regulatory obligation, to the extent that ADA Andart actually possesses or controls the requested information.
23. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising concepts
ADA Andart does not operate a business that directly sells a proprietary database containing users' private vault files.
Some privacy laws define concepts such as "sale", "sharing", "targeted advertising", or "cross-context behavioral advertising" broadly.
Advertising-provider activity may fall within those legal definitions depending on the provider, region, advertising configuration, consent status, and applicable law.
Where required, privacy choices may be available through the advertising consent system, Android controls, Google controls, or the relevant third-party provider.
24. Data retention
Locally stored vault content generally remains on the user's device until the user removes it, exports it, clears application data, uninstalls the application, or it is otherwise removed by Android or the device.
Encrypted backups stored in Google Drive may remain there until the user removes them, the application removes them at the user's request, or Google removes them in accordance with its own systems and policies.
Information processed independently by Yodo1, Google, or participating advertising providers is retained according to the relevant provider's policies and legal obligations.
25. Deleting data
Users may delete local vault content using supported application functionality or, depending on the circumstances, by clearing application data or uninstalling the application.
Clearing application data or uninstalling the application may permanently remove locally stored information.
Users should create or verify a backup before deleting local application data if they wish to retain access to supported content.
Google Drive backups can also be managed through the user's Google account and Google Drive.
26. Local data loss
Local data may become unavailable due to circumstances such as:
- application uninstallation;
- clearing application data;
- device loss or theft;
- factory reset;
- storage corruption;
- hardware failure;
- operating-system errors;
- forgotten credentials;
- unsupported modifications to the device.
Users are responsible for maintaining backups of content they consider important.
27. Security
ADA Andart uses technical measures intended to reduce unauthorized access to supported information under the application's control.
Current V3 cloud backups are designed to be encrypted locally before being uploaded to Google Drive.
No application, encryption system, device, operating system, cloud provider, network, or security mechanism can be guaranteed to be completely immune from compromise, data loss, software defects, attacks, or future technological developments.
Users should protect their device, Google account, vault PIN, recovery password, and other security credentials.
28. International processing
Google, Yodo1, and advertising providers may operate infrastructure in multiple countries.
Information processed through those services may therefore be transmitted to or processed in countries other than the user's country of residence.
Such processing is governed by the relevant provider's policies, safeguards, contractual arrangements, and applicable legal requirements.
29. Privacy rights
Depending on the user's country or region, applicable privacy law may provide rights concerning personal information.
Such rights may include, where applicable:
- access;
- correction;
- deletion;
- restriction;
- objection;
- data portability;
- withdrawal of consent;
- rights concerning certain forms of targeted advertising or data sharing;
- the right to contact an appropriate data-protection or privacy authority.
These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions of applicable law.
Because ADA Andart does not operate proprietary servers containing users' private vault files, ADA Andart may not possess private vault content that can be retrieved in response to a server-side access request.
30. Children and age-related protections
Private Vault Calculator should be used consistently with its applicable Google Play age rating, parental controls, and local law.
Advertising providers may apply age-related restrictions, consent mechanisms, or limited advertising depending on jurisdiction, user choices, SDK configuration, and applicable requirements.
ADA Andart does not intentionally operate a proprietary vault server for the purpose of creating behavioral profiles of children from their private vault content.
Parents or guardians who believe that a privacy matter involving a child requires attention may contact ADA Andart.
31. External links
The application may contain links to websites, applications, stores, advertisements, or other services not operated by ADA Andart.
ADA Andart does not control the privacy practices, security, availability, content, or data handling of independent third-party destinations.
Users should review the privacy policy and terms of a third-party service before providing information to it.
32. Changes to this Privacy Policy
ADA Andart may update this Privacy Policy when application functionality, encryption architecture, Google integration, advertising integration, legal requirements, or data practices change.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, an appropriate mechanism may be used.
